Infusion Nurses Society
The Pine Tree Chapter (PTC) of the Infusion
Nurses Society (INS) received it’s Charter in
1985 and has been going strong ever since.
The goal of the Chapter is simply to provide the
most up-to-date education and networking opportunities in the everchanging field of Infusion Nursing.
We believe that the safety of the patient must always come first and that Infusion Therapy be delivered by nurses with demonstrated competency in this area of patient care.

Meetings
4 meetings per year (Typically March, June, Sept, Dec)
Always in the Augusta/Waterville area.
Each has a business, educational, and networking portion
Annual Spring Educational Seminar
This seminar typically happens in the 2nd or 3rd week of April, in Portland,
ME. The Chapter has a Spring Seminar Committee which works on this event
for 9 to 10 months every year. Topics vary and all nurses are urged to attend.
We usually receive excellent evaluations.
Pam Pelletier Scholarship Point System
Our Scholarship System is based on meeting attendance, active chapter participation,
and a host of other criteria. A minimum of $500.00 will be split up
among applicants, every year. Point accrual runs from May to April. Occasionally,
we have extra money and it will be added to this pot!
Membership
Annual Chapter dues are $24.00 (or $2.00/pro-rated per month for new members
joining mid-year), due in January of each calendar year.
Chapter Offices
President; President-Elect; Secretary; Treasurer; Presidential-Advisor
Terms are one-year and run from May to April.

Website Management; Spring Seminar; Education; Scholarship; Ad Hocs
